Find Ancestors

I am trying to find the birthplace and information relating to Robert Fraser surgeon, born 1787, married in Liverpool 1808 and father of Benjamin Bigland and Robert Herend. However there are several Robert Frasers and I am unable to discover which is the correct one.

Any assistance on this would be appreciated

On Tuesday 25th, after a few hours' illness, at her residence in Gill- street, Mary Fraser, relict of the late Robert Fraser, surgeon, Wigton, Cumberland, And daughter of the late Benjamin Bigland, Esq., Rodney-street, deeply and sincerely regretted by all her friends, leaving a numerous family to deplore her loss.

Thanks for the replies, however I am aware of most of the info and seem to have hit a brick wall and need to learn who were the parents of Robert Fraser.
Any help in this regard would be great :-(
