Sue....I think this may be Frederick H Radford (Listed above)..however dob does not correspond with what you have....It is the only one I can find from RMLI Records..(National Archives)

"Still in camp here, I had a walk round the old battlefield of 1881 and looked at the graves of our poor fellowers. There is a monument in memory of the 60th K.R.R. (Kings Royal Rifles) with all their names on it that fell.

This is like the one I saw with a list of the men's names on all four sides, this side facing Majuba Hill."

I have 4 men that I would like to know a little more about from the war, I think ancestry has information so if someone has got the time can you look to see if these Men are mentioned
Walter E Radford born Sep 1895 died 8th Sep 1919 in France I can't find him either on commonwealth war
William Radford died Boer war in Majuba Hill he was also in Zulu war
Frederick H Radford died Boer war born 25 th Jan 1880 Barnstable died 25th Nov 1899 Northern Cape South Africa
Cyril Radford born 13 Dec 1909 Swansea
Died 13Th June 1942 La Alimain Egypt
