On the 1930 US Census posted by Margee above, the Ancestry transcriber has assumed the head of the household (born Indiana) was Jane's father, which is not the case.

From NLA Trove - I don't think the NSW death is the right George

Chronicle, Saturday 20 January 1906
Mr. George Struthers, of the Semaphore, while out on the Port River with a fishing party on Thursday, January 11, unfortunately lost his life. While fishing the boat drifted, and Mr. Struthers, in attempting to throw out an anchor, overbalanced and fell into the water. It was some minutes before the body rose to the surface, and all efforts to restore life were unavailing.

Strangely the death and funeral notice show him to be Alexander Bremner STRUTHERS - but his wife was Elizabeth (m. 1887 Port Adelaide). They had 3 children.
