My father, Douglas Wallace, recently passed away. Our family is researching his ancestors. His mother was Jane Wallace (a.k.a Jessie Wallace). His grandparents were William Wallace and Mary Manners. We believe that most of their lives were spent in South Shields or Jarrow, England.
