There is a Selling abt 15km N of Ashford, and a Sellinge abt 20km SE of Ashford on the road to Hythe.
The latter now appears to be spelled Sellindge.

Hi, im just starting my mums family tree on her fathers side, and iam looking for information on my g grandfather Edward Wilkinson, he was b abt 1869 In Ashford Kent, married abt 1902 to Lydia Staples and he died 16th Feb 1963 at St Mary's hospital Lyminge Kent.
1911 cencus he lived at Bullwark st, Dover, Kent. His name was down as Edward, but his death cert has him down as Edwin?.
Im looking for any help on finding his Parents & Siblings
He was a Retired Railway Platelayer and had 9 children:- Frederick george, Edith, Edward, William, Albert, Charles, May, Arthur & Herbert.

Any help would be very much appreciated on getting me started.
