Hello MarieCeleste.

Thank you for that information. I do not think it was to do with my Lawrence.

I see another Lawrence Tubb born 1766 died East Woodhay in 1829. I think it must have been him selling off part of his stock in 1827.

Hi Alan, this newspaper article is 24 years after the death of your Lawrence Tubb, but given the name and location was wondering if there was a connection?

Article text:"EAST WOODHAY, HANTS. To be sold by auction, on the premises (under an execution of the Sheriff of Hants), on Friday the 9th of February, 1827. Part of the STOCK in TRADE, and other Effects, of Mr. Lawrence Tubb, brick burner. East Woodhav: consisting of upwards of 7 Thousand new Building Bricks, a quantity of Tiles, a good waggon, waggon bed, sundry pieces of timber, a cow in calf and 40 bags of potatoes"
