I'm looking for the ancestry of this man who was eventually sent to prison as The Luton Sack Murderer in 1943. He died in prison in 1947.
I beleive he was born in Ampthill Bedfordshire 1897c .
It's a possibilty he was the illegitimate son of a James Letting who was sent to Bedford prison for failing to pay a bastardy order.
Any help / comments / advise greatly appreciated.
