Hi Glitterbabe, not as far as I can see, his mother was Ellen Maria White, her parents not known as she was born in St Helier in 1836, in 1851 with her mother Sarah White. No Melrose from the Harvey side

Was his mother or grandmother a Melrose

Percy Melrose harvey born 1871 Hanover Square London ( I have all his antecedents )
In 1881 he lived in Southampton and in 1891 he lived in St Pancras London and was a bank clerk .In 1898 he departed to South Africa and made various return visits to England.

In 1920 he arrived with a wife Una born c 1895 and daughter Ellen Mary born 1918, I assume in Africa. They arrive in 1931 heading for Melrose, Edgeware London. From the electoral roles the house has been occupied by his sister Ellen Sarah Harvey.

After that there is no trace of him or his family.
I cannot find his marraiage or birth of his daughter, I assume either Zimbabwie or South Africa.
Percy was a bank manager.

Was it coincidence his middle name was melrose and the house was Melrose ??
