I have found them
After the 1905 death of Margaret Hunter ( ms Begbie) her husband William remarried
New wife was called Isabella Provan
Married in Inveresk on 20 Sep 1907
William (a widower) was the son of David Gordon Hunter and Elizabeth Young
Isabella was the daughter of John Provan and Jane Savage.

1911: 7 Wellington St, Portobello, Edinburgh
William Hunter (head) age43. General Lab. born Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire
Isabella Hunter Wife. age 30. b Shotts, Lanark ( 4yrs married. 3 children. 2 living)
David Hunter son age 16. Iron Moulder b Musselburgh
William Hunter Son age 12. At school, b Musselburgh
James Hunter Son age 9, at school. b Ormiston
Martha Hunter Dau Age 4 born . b Musselburgh *
Joseph Hunter Son Age 2 b Edinburgh *
Thomas Hunter Son. Under 1mth. b Portobello.*

Neither daughters, Elizabeth nor Janet Hunter are in this household

*odd?
Margaret (Begbie) died in 1905 which means that James age 9 ( bc 1902) was her son.
Margaret had been deceased for just over 5yrs and 6months at 1911

Isabella and William married in Sep 1907 and at 1911 ( married 3yrs and 6mths) Isabella states she had 2 living children
Which 2? There are 3 children of 4yrs and under at 1911?

Will send 1911 census and marriage cert to Stephanie by PM

I've had a bit of a look for them in 1911, without success.

William (son), William (father), David, Margaret aren't in Musselburgh.(Including variations of first names.)

There are 2 Janet Hunters of the right age in Musselburgh, but neither is the right one.

There's a Bessie Hunter, aged 19, whom I thought might be Elizabeth, but she's the sister of a Georgina who's married to Andrew Denholm.

Unfortunately the names are all too common to search further afield without more to go on.

As Scotlands people is the only site with 1911 census, no-one can help you, I'm afraid.

Why not ask for some credits for a Christmas present..........

You only ask about the children of the family. Does that mean you know where the parents were in 1911?

Presumably in Musselburgh, as the mother, Margaret (nee Begbie), wife of William Hunter, general labourer, died 16/09/1905 of typhoid fever, aged 37, and her home address was Musselburgh.
Her parents were David Begbie (carter) and Jessie Begbie (nee Crombie).

Unless that's some other Margaret and William Hunter.

Where did you get the info on David ?

Have you his Army record ?

If all the others stayed in Scotland then you need to search on Scotlands People for them too
