Pre 1837 marriage...?

Evening All

I have an ancestor, one William Pallett (Douse) who apparently married one Catharine Elizabeth Roobottom. The info I was given is that they married in Twycross, Leicestershire in 1827. The Parish records at my local library, on microfiche, appear to be missing years 1814-1837, so I cannot find any evidence to support this claim. I do know, however, that Catharine was from Polesworth in Warwickshire. Before trekking all the way to the Leicester County Records Office to try and solve this, I am wondering if anyone on here may be able to shed some light?

Thanks.

So is the surname Pallet or Douse?

Is this a daughter?

Sarah was actually one of the daughters, thanks.

This is where my dilemma starts. I have a baptism for one William Pallett in 1811 in Cadeby but then he appears in the 1841 census as William Pallett Douse... I am assuming that his parents were never married and that he kept both surnames. But then a fellow genealogist also tracing the same line claims that he married in 1827 in Twycross but she hadn't got a copy of the marriage record.

A tree on Ancestry says that he was the son of William Douse & Catherine Pallett and that Catherine was the daughter of Goodchild Pallett & Mary Dyson.

According to census 1871 Catherine [Roobottom} was born Polesworth, Warwickshire:

1871:

Address: Blue Lane Court, WalsallCounty: Staffordshire

DOUCE, Catharine Pallett Head widow F 64 1807 Warwickshire Polesworth
DOUCE, Willm Son M 20 1851 Staffordshire
HEATH, Henry Boarder M 49 1822 Shropshire

and familysearch has a likely baptism for her, so a marriage seems a strong possibility, it's just a question of when & where...
