He is in numerous GR trees...some with your version of his forename, others with the more usual version

There are a few trees on Ancestry not seeing any photos attached there

Thanks Soloman Tapping does not seem to have any photos - maybe he was a bigamist!!

Why do you imagine that photos from that era will have survived....even if there were any in the first place.

Think about it....................how many people could have afforded to have photographs taken in the mid-19th century?

Have you actually contacted all of the people on GR with his name in a tree?

And look for him also under 'Solomon', which is probably the correct version of his forename

Soloman and Susan married in 1861 and were still together 50 years later....why do you think he was a bigamist?

My gran who collected everything including family photos had one taken about 1898 nothing before that and nothing else until the 1920s

It was more important to put food on the table than have your photo taken

Why would you think he was a bigamist simply because you can't find a photo of him? As has been said photos were very rare that early.
