That is them - although no idea why they married there?! Miles away from her parish of Danby, and where their daughter was born a year later.

As I say, I have info on the Langburns and on the children of Robert Chapman - just looking for his family!

Cheers,

Peter

Hi there,

My distant uncle Robert Chapman is buried in Danby, North Yorkshire, having died there about 11 June 1824. He was 61 at the time, making the year of his birth, c. 1763.

I am looking for a baptism for him but there are numerous possibilities in the area and I am not sure where to start - any ideas?!

I have also struggled to find a marriage for him. He married Mary Langburn (she is my direct relative), and I know of her marriage through wills of her brothers. Robert is an uncle through marriage but I am still interested in finding out more about his family.

Any ideas?! With thanks in advance,

Peter
