Find Ancestors

Lived in Hebburn/Jarrow and married Henry Brown. I am trying to find her father's name, She was the half sister of my grandmother Margaret Tate and her sister Mary. I cannot trace her father. I would be grateful for some help :-)

Could you give a few dates, please?

Do you not know the name of your grandmother's father - surely it would be the same if they are both Tates?

The father's name should be on the marriage certificate.....

How can you not know the father's name if the surname was the same as the half-sisters?

Added, don't know what's going wrong with copy paste - but the above is a death reg Sept qtr 1888.

There is not a birth registered for a Mariah Liddle or a death registered for a Mariah Tate........which makes me wonder if she just preferred the name Mariah?
