Can anyone assist me with my investigation ?.
My husbands G G Grandmother Mary Jane Cook maiden name Hayes born in Frampton Cotterll Gloucestershire around 1858. She married George Cook and bore 8 children. The family appears on the 1891 & 1901 census reports there after there is no record of her. The 1911 census only shows details of George & his youngest daughter living in Frampton Cotterell in the family home.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Dianna.

Her daughter Justina is in the household so maybe your correct and Mary Jane had fallen out with George.

Mind you there is a similar instance in my family tree. The husband was at home in Felixstowe and the wife was in Ipswich. The story behind that was that the wife had gone on ahead to run the hotel that the husband had not long bought. They all were living together in Ipswich by the time of the next census.

Hi you guys are good.
Many of the details you have uncovered make sense. Herbert & Fred moved to the Tonyrefail area,& Elias the eldest son ( known as George ) moved to Whitchurch Cardiff before settling in Caerphilly where he died in1954.
Sisters Alice V , Justina & Mary ( known as Evelyn ) attended the funeral . On the obituaries page Alice's married name was Bishop ,Justina' Willie & and Evelyn was Jones.
Maybe Justina remarried?.
Thanks for your help Brummiejan, Jonesey, Andrew & Potty.
Regards Dianna.
