Thanks Alviegal

Thanks for the info-I did have this marriage of John & Mary but I'm blessed if I can find a John & Ann anywhere!

Thank you both -It may be John's 1st marriage to Mary-but I can't find a marriage of John & Ann.
Maddie-It may be the John & Ann I'm looking for although I would have thought that it would have given Eleanor as the illegitimate daughter of Ann at her baptism in 1813--but you never know!

Hello everyone,

I tried adding this query to my thread 'the parents of Eleanor Hoyes' so if anyone has looked at that I apologise for starting again but I didn't get any response. re the marriage.
John Hoyes & Ann were the parents of Eleanor Hoyes (Hayes on Freereg) bapt 1.1.1813 in Freiston Lincs.
I'm hoping someone can find the marriage of John & Ann around that time, It is possible that Ann may have been John's 2nd wife (I found a John & Mary having children up until 1804-then nothing until Eleanor in 1813 with Ann)-this is only a guess though.
I know how briiliant you all are at ferreting out info so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
