Linda Report 7 Nov 2013 06:43

Hello, does anyone have any information about Elizabeth Dunn, born 1791 in Chipping Campden Gloucestershire please. I do know that she married William James also from Chipping Campden, but that's all I know. Also I have seen her grave stone in St James Church, Chipping Campden. I long for more info about her.
Thanks,
Linda

Bromesberrow is rather a long way from CC...........

......and, as the 'son in law' is unmarried, one would think he is actually stepson to William James, so possibly the result of an earlier marriage for the wife - assuming he wasn't illegitimate.

Linda.................

When was the marriage?

When did she die?

I would be interested to know when Elizabeth died?

If the above family is correct then she probably died around the birth of the twins in 1834 - She would have been around 43 by then so would probably have been a difficult birth?

I suspect the 1 year old Jane on the 1841 is possibly grandchild?

Well, if the above burial IS her, it looks like she might have survived having the twins but then didn't survive the birth of Jane ?? - Sh would have been around 48 so certainly possible?

thanks all of you for your work. Yes Elizabeth died in 1839 24th August, and is buried in St James Chipping Campden. Which means Jane James must be her Grand daughter, thanks all of you so much for your help.
