I have a 1841 census showing John Waight, aged 60, in Kensal Green, but can find no birth. There are two John Waights born 1784 in Hampshire, but I don't think either is the one I am looking for. All help greatly appreciated. Bob Waight |

Bob, could you please give more details of the 1841 census. This is the nearest I can find and it is Kensworth, Hertfordshire not Kensal Green (which I think is in Middlesex) |

Thanks for the replies. It is definitely Kensal Green in the 1841. The household also includes his wife Sarah, b 1771. Here is a strange co-incidence. On the original, 10 entries above, is Edward Lander, aged 50, a Mason, who was my maternal 3xg grandfather on my mother's side. Bob |
