I am looking for a death for Edward's wife Sussannah - can anyone spot her?

She obviously died before 1851 and probably before 1841 - how comprehensive is FreeReg?!

Lovely - just to see we are on the right track. Seems we both came to the same conclusion.

Thank you!

And baptisms for Thomas (1747) & Philip (1745) (with many other siblings) at Gayton-Le-Marsh, sons of Thomas & Elizabeth.....so that marriage looks likely.

Just delving back and seems they MIGHT be cousins. Thank you Christina!

There is this marriage which could be the parents of Thomas born 1787 ... what do you think?

No reason at all why 2 brothers shouldn't marry women with the same given name, but unlikely to be brothers given their places of birth.

Edit: Seeing your last post, perhaps they were not related at all, or maybe cousins?

Thank you Christina, now I misread the 1841 - my ancestor was Edward Carter married Susannah Carter in 1806 in Wrangle, Lincolnshire.

Is it possible that Thomas and Edward Carter are brothers?!

But would two brothers marry two separate women named Susannah?!

Wow, seems to be my chap - he was married to a Susannah Carter. And if Sussanah Clarke is a granddaughter, you found my distant aunt's marriage! Wow, thank you - are they on the 1851?!

Can someone please look up this chap in the 1841 and see who he is living with? Also if he is alive in the 1851 and 1861?

Thanks,
