That's weird, we have just ordered some furniture from a Barkers shop I wonder if it's one of the descendants of the Barker who was in partnership with Henry Wigfall I will ask at the shop.

If you google Wigfall, quite a lot comes up about the shops...Looks like they were in partnership with Barker as well

Hi Jax, What a ninny I forgot to say they were based in Sheffield, I was amazed to see how some of the people got around in the 1800's I suppose even in those days they had to travel to where the work was.

Have you looked to see if anyone has this family in their tree? If so you can try and contact them and maybe they will have some photos

Looking for info on the Wigfall family who had a cycle/record shop and later a chain of stores selling TV's and domestic appliances.. The Wigfalls were my late Grandmother's relatives and we haven't any photos of her family would love to see anything anyone has ie family tree stuff old photos etc. <3
