Why not research the family yourself?

You'll know then that the info you add to your tree is accurate.

Welcome to the boards, Joe.

Have you looked to see if anyone on here has any of your ancestors in their tree, by using Search/Search All Member trees (top right) to find them and then make contact?

Best to hunt them out, not sit and wait for them to make contact.
