Trying to find Rhoda Margaret Lewis Born 1874 in York. Her Father was William Lewis and her Mother was Emma Martin. Rhoda was Housekeeper to RC Priest in 1901 and 1911 in Askew,Nr Bedale, Yorkshire, after that I can not find her. I need to find when she died. Rhoda was the Sister of my Grandmother. :-)

Rule out the death in 1931 in Cardiff as she had the middle name of Maud

As the priest is from Ireland, would she have gone there with him?

Is the priest her brother, or just a coincidence of surnames?
(Probably unlikely because of his birth-place)

That cannot be your Rhoda Lewis!!

Your Rhoda was born in 1874

If she did marry in 1944 ................. she would have been 60

and she would have been 138 in 2012

There are no deaths for a Rhoda M born 24.5.1874 listed or a Rhoda Margaret c 1873/4

Its a possibility she did travel around as housekeeper to the Priest so didnt die in this country
