Hello Everyone,
I am trying to find information about Ann Newton, born 1878 in Easington Lane County Durham, she is believed to be my Great Grand Mother, having married into the Peary family, she had a Daughter called Ellen, (my Grand Mother) and possibly a Son called David.
Ann later went on to Re-marry, to William Spragon Kirton, if any of this information sounds familiar to anyone, I would Very much like to hear from you.

There is a David Peary born in 1900, Sunderland:-

........but he doesn't show on 1901 or 1911 census with Annie and her family so only way to find out if she was the mother would be to buy a copy of the cert. unless you can find him on the census records to see who he is with.

Do you not have your Grandmother Ellen's birth certificate. This will give you her parents names which will confirm if Annie is indeed her mother. As you say, "she is believed to be my Great Grand Mother", you really do need to confirm this fact before moving on.
