Yes - this is the right family - we have all the Census all the way through. and we think Henry was George's brother. We have found their father Richard (born 1770's) on the 1841 Census and we believe Richard was married to an Ann. What we really need to find are some current day relatives who come down George's brother and sister lines so that we can check the next generation back (Richard etc.) which is proving the most difficult. Looking for ancestors - siblings - descendants of George Johnson born 1822 in Wiltshire - married Elizabeth Vincent -
Father thought to be a Richard Johnson. George and Elizabeth were parents of Ruth Johnson born St. Mary's Westport - she became a milliner/dressmaking. Ruth was our great grandma - married John Day (born 1850). They moved from Wiltshire to Haworth in West Yorkshire around the turn of the century.
