John jnr could have moved away from Everton and married in another registration district, check http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl there are several marriages listed that could be him.

my grandfather john enoch alcock had a son of the same name born 1905 I can not find any info regarding him after that date I have traced the rest of the family I can only asume he died young
