hello I'm trying to find information on a William Norton born 1821 in Germany. he moved to Australia before 1850 where he married Johanna Freiderine (Caroline) Baulhausen 1850, 15 June Burra Burra, South Aust. Daied 1873 Age 52 . I can not find any information on this man before moving to Australia. the family is lead to believe he went from Germany to England then Australia. because of the lack of information i'm starting to believe maybe he changed his name. |

Public Family Trees are generally not to be trusted, as people make assumptions that may or may not be correct, and copy information from other trees without checking documentation |

I have all this information. That's easy to find. It's were he actually was born, his parents/brother/sisters and pretty much everything about his life before 1850 when he came to Australia can't be found. |

If this is his death in Victoria, it states his birthplace was Hull (Yorkshire): |
