Hi Stephanie
James Aaron John had 2 brothers - William Charles Herbert Brooks, who was my father and John Richard Brooks.

We know very little about their parents and the other siblings as my father would not talk about his family.

We understood his mother, Eliza Georgina Rose Nellie Salmon Kearn left the Isle of Wight when the boys were young and at some point lived on both Jersey and Guernsey. It also may be that at the end of the war she went over to France to live.
