Looks like Margaret & Annie. It seems that he's going to join brother William in Vancouver, BC and is just travelling through US, says he's only going to be in US 3 days. Father is Dennis in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Yes margee. You are right. Do they look like children and is it their age 9 ?.I did not know they had children.

Could it be that they're his brother's children? It looks like brother is written beside children. Yes, there's a 9 beside each child's name. Age? Are they twins?

Pappa Report 18 Oct 2013 12:34

I honestly dont know who's children they are, william married in 1936 to a Elsie Dixon,
But Albert married a Margaret Mary Wilson in 1930 and then a Marie in 1938.

I dont know who these children belong to, and have not found their births yet.
With one of the children being called margaret you would think she is possibly Albert and Margarets

What are the birth records for canada like?

Best wishes mfm

Birth records less than a 100 years ago in Canada are very difficult to access because of privacy. I don't know what to suggest.

Have you seen the photo of Margaret Mary's gravestone here?

Edit: Wow! Just found my grandmother's sister in the same cemetery. No photo though.

Reading the second page of that card I'm sure I can see the word adopted in relation to the children but the image is very poor.

Under Medical Certificate I can make out:

Adopted children. Birthplace unknown xxxx xxxx from xxxxx Dec 1 1926. Children xxxx xxxx Child Welfare xxxxxxx.

Under Remarks and Endorsements

Wife 32 xxxxx xxxx xxx maiden name Wilson. Born Oil ?? City Ont.
