Unfortunately these names are very common and there are numerous possible marriages.

However, and Ancestry tree has the following:

1911 gives her place of birth as Bishop Auckland, but living Sunnybrow.

There is a Sarah Dargue who died in county Durham in 1971 who was born on the 14 Jan 1902, same as your Sarah, so a possible?

also:-

Sarah Nixon died in 1988 in Essex. (same date of birth)

and

Sarah Shaw died in 1999 in Lewisham, London

There are other Sarahs but they all have middle names so probably not.

freebmd.org shows a John J. Dargue marrying in Sep 1923 Durham to someone with the name Scott but name does not show when you click on page number?

Just checked on ancestry and marriage there shows spouse's name and it is a Sarah Scott, so looking good.



One child showing possibly born to this couple:-
William Dargue born 1925 Auckland


Also a death for a John J. Dargue in 1930 aged 48yrs. Auckland but that would make his date of birth abt.1882, so 20 yrs older than Sarah.

Only way to confirm however is to buy the marrige cert. although death record would seem to confirm that it is your Sarah as date of birth is correct.
