Thanks a lot ArgyllGran - I had in fact found Violet and George in the 1911 C, I then searched births and deaths hoping to find an offspring/death - no joy.

Thanks Mike - I have the marriage certificate of Hunt/Snow - Violet in fact is my grandmother's sister.

Who is George's father on the marriage certificate? and what was his occupation ?
