Mabel Scott Newland Married Arthur James Butler in July 1915.

I have found one child Gertrude Mabel D Butler b 1916. I have now come to a dead end.

I would like to know, did Gertrude marry and were there any other Children.

The first marriage of Mabel is in West ham and the second possible marriage in East Ham

His army record is on ancestry and he was paying an allotment to his wife who was living at 7 Sandyhill road Ilford so she is still in the same area that they married .

I have the birth certificate of Gertrude Mabel Dopsie Butler.And the marriage certificate of Mabel and Arthur. Also Mabel did marry again Adam Lopez

Betty and Doreen are not related to Mabel and Arthur,
I have the birth certificate of Betty Butler .

i wonder if the marriage of Arthur and Mabel lasted very long as Arthur desserted the Army within days of joining.

so is Gertrude their daughter then ??

He did desert the Army so maybe they left Ilford so he wouldnt be found .
