I think you'll need to buy one of these b.certs if you want to confirm Betty's name:

Births Mar 1840 (>99%)
Jackson Ann Warrington 20 817

Births Sep 1842 (>99%)
Jackson Jane Warrington 20 799

Using http://www.cheshirebmd.org.uk/ we can see both these births were rego'ed in the Sankey subdistrict of Warrington (Burtonwood is in the Sankey subdistrict), like all the other names on the same GRO page.
[NB Warrington is now in Cheshire]

On a modern map of Widnes, Gerrard St is maybe 300m long and runs from its juction with Widnes Rd/Milton Rd to Lugsdale Rd.
On an old map, the E (Lugsdale Rd) half of Gerrard St was just a footpath
Try a search at http://www.old-maps.co.uk/index.html for the coords 351700,385600 and select a 1:2500 scale map, say 1893.
Anyways, the main point is they're all near eachother.
