Hi all i know is that he had a son called James born 1925 not sure if marriage took place in Bridgeton was a guess

Using the free search facility, there is a marriage for a James Wood (surname variants) in Bridgeton in 1924 but he didn't marry an Agnes.


Do you have the marriage certificate of his son please?

How do you know that the marriage took place in Bridgeton please?

Can't help you with the birth of the son, I'm afraid.
There are dozens of James Wood(s) born around 1925, eleven in various areas of Glasgow alone, 1924-26.

You would have to spend a fair bit of money on credits, to view each of the birth records, to see the mother's ms.

There is no district called Brighton in Glasgow. It is more likely to be Bridgeton.

Just wondering if someone could maybe locate a marriage for a James Woods he married an Agnes ? around 1920 in Brighton, Glasgow, they had a son called James Woods born circa 1925.
