Frederick has confirmed by PM that Patrick was not the son of Archibald Forrest and Annie Brown.

Frederick and BatMansDaughter.

Sp can be manipulated further which shows
The 1914 marriage in City of Glasgow
Archibald Forrest and Annie BROWN

Although the marr cert will be available on SP, Patrick's birth is too recent and would need to be ordered
I have a seat booked at the Glasgow records office this coming Thursday, and will look at the birth, get confirmation of his parents and then look at the corresponding marriage cert .
I will also look for siblings.

Edit:
If Patrick does turn out to be the son of Archibald Forrest ( b1894) and Annie Brown, it would appear that his grandparents were Archibald Forrest ( b 1861) and Ann Crawford who married in Carmunnock 1882
Great grandparents look likey to be John Forrest and Janet McAllister who married in Glasgow 1840

IF, Archibald was his father who died in WW1, then this maybe of interest to you if he is an ancestor of yours?

Frederick,

You say his mother was possibly Annie, looking at the above chap and doing some work is it possible that his father was Archibald and died in WW1? I have found a possible marriage in 1914 in Glasgow City of Archibald Forrest to Annie ???? And a subsequent birth of Patrick in 1916. Here's the likely death for Archibald, sadly it gives no further info about parentage or wife on CWGC,
