On rereading these replies do you think this is the one family?? One says a farmer and the other a train driver electrical??

Hello Margaret, to make sure we're pursuing the right man, what facts do you have about your Bartholomew? Birth, parents, occupation, marriage?

Personally, i think the occupation of "Farmer" on the 1912 shipping record is a red herring.

The 1911 English census has him as "Train Driver Electrical"

This electoral roll has occupation "tram conductor"
