Is it possible to find out who adopted her, when and why Thank you as always Phil

	There are two members who have a Doreen Cox born 1936 London in their tree. You could try contacting them to see if it is the same Doreen. I'm presuming your Doreen is the one registered in Hammersmith London. Chris

	Philip, the only way to find her is if she wishes it, or her relatives who know her birth name are looking for her family. There are a few people with a Doreen Cox born 1936 in their tree, a long shot but worth a try. Usually people use the Adoption Contact Register to find adopted relatives, but obviously she would have had to register on there also, and of course she might never have known she was adopted. Jan
