They arrived in Montreal 11/07/1925, it was George, her husband, herself and a daughter Margaret, who was 8 years old.

George Thomson was born in Larkhall, Margaret was born in Galashiels and married in Ormiston.

They had 4 children,
George Smail Thomson who was born 1894 and killed in 1918
Elizabeth Sheriff Thomson who married Robert Peat and emigrated to canada in 1924, the address given on George and Margaret emirgration was Robert Peats address. Elizabeth died in 1994 in Canada.
Mary Scott Thomson was born and died in 1904
The last daughter was Margarert Cairns Thomson who was born in 1916.

All children were born in Larkhall, Lanarkshire.

The Cairns only appeared as her middle name from the birth of Mary, it appears on her death certificate but not sure if it appears on the daughter Margarets as I am unable to view this at present.

Do you have their emigration itself?

Where were they born? Where were the children born?What were their names?

If Smail was her maiden name then what is/was Cairns?

I am trying to track down information regarding this ancestor after they emigrated to Canada in 1925.

She married George Thomson (1870) in 1894 and they had 4 children, one dying in infancy.

I have managed to find a few pieces of information regarding George Thomson crossing the border into the US a few times, but the last date I have for this is 1947, can anyone help?
