I am looking for the birth of my grandfather and was wondering if someone could do a look up for me. I have looked but nothing much has come up his name is John Flanagan born in Louisburg, county mayo Ireland. this town was also known as Kilgeever too. I dont have any offical date or month but it would be around 1935 to 1940. Also he did live in this part of Ireland before moving to london the address he lived at was 33 bardolph road, Holloway london N7. This is most info I have and he was a born Irishman.

try looking at.....................

https://familysearch.org/

Or google Irish BMD

Did he marry your grandmother?

If he didn't, and you can't find out his birth year and the name of his father, you may struggle with such a common name to look for

Yes, I know everyone has 2 grandfathers. For some reason I thought that it was the same side of the family as both posts referred to 'my grandfather'. To save confusion -paternal grandfather and maternal grandfather. OK. I know, different posts, different sides. Will go back to sleep, now.
