Perhaps you are putting in too much detail. As Reggie has said - try putting in less and don't be too specific. I use Findmypast and that's where my information was from. |

Strange... I have just searched through GenesReunited and still not able to locate details from 1911 census given above. I must be doing something wrong!!! |

My grandfather's borther JOSEPH PURDY (b.1876 Derby St. Peter), married ANNIE E ROOME in 1899 (Derby). He was located in both the 1881 & 1891 census as being at home with parents William & Mary. The 1891 census listed his occupation as 'CARMAN' which clearly has links with the railway. I have his death in 1945, again Derby, and Annie in 1942 or 1965. I have not located any children, and more bizarre, there appears to no reference to either in the 1901 or 1911 census. |
