Jim, I doubt very much whether any of the records found were from Genes. The birth & marriage could be from Ancestry although you can find the same records on FamilySearch but often with less detail, but it is free. https://familysearch.org |

Thanks for all the help 'rootgatherer'[RG], Maureen in NY, James & Reggie, especially RG (is that Genes R by another name?). All very helpful. Now I must ask, how do you do it? I am obviously looking in the wrong place or asking the wrong questions of the wrong computer/database as I still cannot find what you are quoting from and as far as I can see my past does not exist! Tres odd. A few asks of RG - your first 'find' shows a Bingham Jane (they didn't bother too much with maiden names in those days did they) - shows Married - 3 2 2, what does 3 2 2 mean - married 3 years 2 months and 2 days???? Also - take my father Albert Bingham you refer to Vol. 1; Page 14; FHL Film No. 101072 - what are these records and how do I access them? Hope you have the time and can assist further. |

This looks like Samuel in 1901 but alas not with his parents. The Head of the household is a grocer. |

Albert (my father) believed to have played football for Ireland and got one cap before injury to knee ruined career. Had a brother Edgar. Worked in Belfast Bank. Married a Muriel Davidson. Was brought up in Ballyclare and lived (married) in Lurgan, Warrenpoint and Belfast. Looking for data on him and his ancestors - cannot find anything on GR. |
