Yes. That is what I always do now. If nothing matches up then I either delete the information or not add it at all. I will have to re-look into some of my early research since I do not copy trees anymore unless I clarify.

That's one of the dangers of copying from other people's trees Daniel. I think we've all been down that route but, at least, we have learned from it and made sure that we do our own checking before adding names to our trees. :-)

When I first started doing some lineages, I never use to clarify. I only copied from a tree but now that I do clarify, I am going through my whole project and this is the problem with the READER family I am having so may need to scrap that lineage and start over as the person I copied from can be wrong.

An Anthony Reader is named as churchwarden in 1688.

Maybe she simply wasn't baptised!

With no indication as to where she was born it will be difficult

I am having trouble trying to find a baptism for an Anne Reader.
She married 13 Jan 1686 to John Hill in Winteringham, Lincolnshire, England.
I did some research about her but I am kind of wondering if it is the right information since I still can;t find a baptism so without her parents name then I can't go anywhere..
