Trying to find the index details for the marriage of Frances May Gurney & John Race, in Nottinghamshire around the 1970's to enable me to order a certificate. Nothing comes up in the two sites I use, but a record dated 1977 comes up in sites asking for more money to subscribe. I'm wondering if any kind person could maybe look for me. I'd so like to find out if Frances & John had children. |

If Gurney was the female's maiden name, she wasn't of child-bearing age - unless she was born somewhere other than England/Wales |
