I am trying, unsuccessfully so far, to find a marriage record for Alice Amos, who married (William, possibly) Perkins in Oxfordshire/North Hants/Bucks etc between 1795 and 1810 approximately. Death certificate for their son George Perkins (d.1887 in NZ) states mother's maiden name as Alice Amos, but doesn't record his father's name. George was christened in Bloxham, Ox, and lived and apparently married in Milcombe (just down the road SW of Banbury), to Sarah Eden around 1846 (I also don't have an exact date for that marriage if anyone can help there). |
