Reggie sorry have been out, I connected her to the Bott family through Sibling Ellen who was living with her in one of the census so started searching out Ellen and siblings too |

Mary put her birthplace as 'at sea' on census records last one being 1871 in Spittals workhouse Stoke on Trent and every one I have found prior to then, she died 1874 i think |

I am trying to find out Mothers maiden name and am intrigued as to the reason she was born 'at sea' where they were travelling from, and what port they docked in. then can trace female line back from there. I cannot find baptism or parents marriage. |

Looking for the birth and cannot find records before the 1840's Her mother was born in Hull, Mary ? 1792, father Joseph Bott 1790 ag Lab in Staffordshire in 1841 from Staffordshire. |
