In the 1901 census my relative Frederick Pirt / Purt born about 1870 in Bury st Edmund Suffolk, is living with his wife Emma whose maiden name was Alderton, born about 1872 in the same town. They have an adopted daughter called Mabel,born 1895 in Bradfield St George Suffolk. I can't find her or her mother in the 1911 census or any death under the name Pirt /purt. Frederick is in the 1911 census living in an inn as a lodger, but he is still married. Please could anyone help me by finding out Mabels name before she was adopted, or where the 2 of them are in the 1911 census . many thanks. |
