James Edwards born 1853/54

Only have James Edwards on 1881 Census Living with Charlotte C Wale nee Payton and c/d in Croydon Surrey. Have him at marriage to Charlotte 1888 in Croydon Surrey. He is 35 and a Labourer. Have him again in 1891 on death aged 38. He died of a fall in Jan. His dad was John and John was deceased at marriage 1888. Don't know anything more of John. James thought he was b in Croydon but no one can find him.
Any idea how I can find either of these two men?

Witnesses appear to be George Russell and Charlotte Agent

Do either of those names mean anything to you ?

Witnesses don't mean anything to me.
Previously we had the wrong man thinking he died in Metropolitan Hosp but he died of a fall from a window. Jan 1891. No one can find his birth in Croydon where he thought he was born.
Can't find Dad who died before the wedding in 1888.

Hello Beryl,
if you click on the link above, it is your other 'Thread' relating. Would be better to stick to that one, then info. doesn't get repeated, also, it explains who Charlotte Agent is!.
