That is it exactly Reggie......he is supposed to be related to my friend and she only has been given his name verbally.. from her mother..nothing is written down. I think we are really on a losing streak with this one, but thanks anyway

If the man is supposed top be related to your friend...........what is the source of her info?

If it is only verbal, there is plenty of scope for misunderstanding, or misinterpretation.

And he may not have been British....................

If you know where he lived you could try asking for an electoral roll look up at the local library ??

We know absolutely nothing about him at all, except for his name, and that he lived in Guernsey in 1972. I am researching this man for a friend of mine, and I also think she has slightly misspelled his surname. Thanks for the replies folks, you have really just confirmed what I was already thinking.

Hi

I don't think such a surname exists?

As Dea has asked above, ditto

Hi, I am trying to find any information of John Mamyo, born perhaps around 1948, lived in Guernsey in the early 1970. This may be a misspelling of his surname, but its all we have got. Any information would be appreciated.
