MarieCeleste and Tony I will follow your advice although I do now think it is a long shot as they were both in their 30's when they emigrated to Oz.
A big thanks again

Hi Patricia.

Any children ( names ) relating to Annie and Alfred PEDDER should be listed on either of their Death cert's, including their ages at time of their parents deaths.

You might like to read this site ( below ) also regarding purchasing Victoria's BDM's
Pending on the years, most of Victoria's BDM's can be purchased on-line and downloaded to your computer.

I've had a look at the few electoral rolls that I could find for Alfred and Annie in the 1940s, 50s & 60s and they remain consistently at 4 Chavasse Street, Brighton, Balaclava. Melbourne. None of those records has any other Pedder at the same address so if they DID have any children then they weren't eligible to vote at that time or were elsewhere.

You could have a look at Victoria BDM for info on certificates or downloading uncertified images.

Hi Patricia, you have done the right thing by adding here but you may have to wait for advice on sending for the certificates etc. Hopefully Tony may know all about it.:-)

Annie and Albert Pedder are the people I wanted the info on and now that I have found what happened after they emigrated it would be helpful to find if they had children. Also how would I go about sending for the death certs?
I hope I have done right by adding this reply or should I have added another thread?
With thanks
Patricia

I am hoping someone can find any information regarding a relative who I believe emigrated to Melbourne. Her name is Annie Moncur, she travelled from London on the ORVIETO April 1927. She appeared to be travelling with Mr. A Pedder. I have been unable to find her whereabouts on arrival in Australia. Any information would be much appreciated.
