Hi, does anybody have any records of Hertford baptisms that are NOT included in the records on' find my past' please? I know some people have discs etc. I'm looking for the baptisms of sisters Mary Ann and Agnes Hagger c1810. I have found the marriage of Agnes and the deaths of them both. On the 1851, 1861 and 1871 Agnes has put she was born either in Hertford or Hertford Town. Mary Ann died before 1851. |

Hi Tracey, although not the ones you are looking for, here are some names that might help you in the future. Two marriages in St Mary's Church, Braughing. William Hagger to Martha Brown 30th July 1808. John Piggott to Sarah Hagger 13th April 1811. Burials in the same churchyard:- Sarah Haggar 30th Dec 1815, Elizabeth Haggar 9th April 1837, Ann Hagger, 18th Sept 1857, aged 85, and Mary Haggar 4th May 1862 aged 29. The spellings of the surname may be just a variation. Try the website hagger.org which is very useful, and Martin Hagger, whose site it is, is happy to hear from people who are interested. Hi Tracey, it's me again. I should have mentioned that I have a James Hagger, 1829-1892, in my tree. He married one of my wife's ancestors, Mary Spencer, 1833-1871, in 1855. Bob |

Thank you to you all. I haven't been able to definitely link my Haggers to the Therfield ones yet. The problem is not being able to find Agnes's baptism,on the 1841 she is married and Mary Ann is staying with her and is a couple of years older but then she dies unmarried before 1851. |
