They were detained for 2 days pending investigation. It confirms he did indeed have $1,000. They were held because they had no friends, relatives or address to go to. Both born in Birmingham,England. I believe they were born in Lye.
Jeremiah had sisters and brothers. They were John, Robert,Joseph,Lily,Emily.
Sarah I believe had a sister Edith. All moved to Toledo Ohio USA. Any
