Yes, that's the marriage in 1916. I thought I might get a copy of the cert. but I doubt it would give me any more information that I am looking for. :-(
I wasn't sure whether the death cert. states how long he was in Australia for. I guess that would depend on the knowledge of the informant.

Hi Debbie, did he marry an Emily?
There's a death notice for the wife of a Thomas Wallace Page here:

I'm searching for some information on Thomas Wallace Page, born in 1875 in Glasgow to Davd & Elizabeth. He travelled to South Africa with Mrs Page (not really his wife - but Janet Young Black or Pearce) in April 1903. After this I found him in Australia, marrying in 1916, and his death in Australia in 1961.
I can see him in later electoral rolls in Australia, but I'm trying to find him in the years between 1903 and 1916. I really want to discover when he went to Australia, and if Janet was with him. South African records are very sparse, so I hoped to discover the date he went to Australia. Does anyone know if there would be any earlier electoral rolls than the ones online?
Hoping someone might be able to help?
Debbie.
